Platebreaker encodes the metadata your recipe pages make available to search engines with nutrient data traceable back to USDA sources, ingredient by ingredient.

Platebreaker provides the nutrition and information to find recipes, and users need to go to your site to view the recipes.

You can control how your recipes are displayed in Platebreaker's search results by creating a free Creator account and registering your domains.

Platebreaker is a personal demo project and it's free to use. If it ever grows to where running it for free becomes too costly, the app would have to either start charging or shut down. Should it move to a paid model, any arrangement for sharing revenue with creators would be developed in consultation with creators, and creators would always be able to opt in or opt out.

You are free to use the nutrient data Platebreaker provides to enhance your own site experience or social media engagement. The app will soon provide a free widget to make this easier.
